Day 267: Why Do I Sleep In?

Exploring the reasons why I sleep in instead of wake up to a new day refreshed and ready.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to sleep in out of the excuse that I fear the future and what is in store for me in the new day.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to sleep in to avoid my own fear of the future.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to sleep in to avoid what obstacles I may face in the day.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to sleep in to keep a feeling of peace and quiet that I experience and do not want to let go of when I wake up and that immediate moment of feeling refreshed.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to attempt to hold onto the peace and quiet I experience at the moment of waking up by sleeping in.

I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that I cannot hold onto the peace and quiet that I experience when waking up.

When and as I see myself wanting to sleep in and sleep for longer after waking up – I stop, I breathe.  I realize that it is impossible to hold onto the peace and quiet experience of just waking up, and in a way I may create and take responsibility for creating peace and quiet through directing all the points as what needs to be done in the day point by point.  I commit myself to create for myself a good reason for being peaceful and quiet rather than worry about my future by/through waking up to do what needs to be done, wake up and get out of bed in a moment.

About Kasper Kwan

Currently supporting myself in the process of establishing my words in the physical principles of Oneness and Equality. Had to start this process because I have allowed and accepted my words to be established in the mental idea of self-interest/greed, and only realised this recently.
