There’s an intrinsic value to meeting a new circumstance or new people for the first time. When we do or say or behave in a new way, a way separate from our habitual character, we walk in a circle back to our beginning as a complete beginner. A complete fool in practice. And when in it, all the knowledge in the world becomes irrelevant to the way you’re living in that circumstance/people, and we’re reminded of how we can be naked in the most unexpected sequence of events.
Of X, I admire his/her gentle approach to listening and absorbing what other people around him/her are doing, it really feels like he/she is listening to forgive. From the look in the eyes, to the deliberate, slow movement of his/her whole physical body, it seems to ooze forgiveness in practice.
When young, everything is new. When older, we have less and less appreciation of the unknown new and more and more fear of what we don’t know. When old, we’ve repeated the same day so many times that we feel like everything is within our expectations relying from our experience, and it’s not even a question that we expose ourselves naked to something new: we just won’t.
I was not a sentimental kid. But while time waits for no one, and I register on my radar more quantity of uncertain things, the family and love and friendship that was blared throughout media and movies and whatnot start to look appealing, and it’s like I’m in a state where no matter what cost, I want a cushion to embrace in a fetal position as I look upon the world. What is new begins to register as what is threatening, and I see it in myself and everyone: we become pockets of time, trapped in our adolescent years of taste in music, movies, general attitudes and traditions according to the habits of our own beingness natures.
Then you add to that mix, the total complete opposite nature of living intrinsic to the system where self interest is the safest bet apparently, that invites the least criticism and scrutiny. You have the big lie that is consciousness, love and light, positive thinking, self interest. You have the fact that people in immense fear are in decision making positions projecting their fears into laws and policies mismanaging the population. You have extreme inequality, and the general gist that each of us equally are responsible for maintaining this inequality. You have your general want to be taken on face value to be a good person. You have the mismanaged emergence of sex and romantic relationships. You have people displaying two faces between representing an opportunity for them to make money off of you, and you having no money potential at all. Yet as a living being already existing in full complete measure in a world where everything already exists, it means your life was given for free but how to live it is not free, and to be living you have to be supporting a solution that will bring Equality in practice to every corner of all the industries that are here, yet you must stand.
